Vice President of Maintenance & Engineering
Jeffrey Carstens serves as Vice President of Maintenance & Engineering for Aviana Airways Corporation. As a seasoned entrepreneur with more than 30 years of aviation and business experience, Carstens co-founded Aviation Ventures, Inc. (dba Vision Airlines and Vegas Jet) in Las Vegas, Nevada and was instrumental in growing the airline as Vice President and Director of Maintenance. Carstens continues to hold an equity ownership role with Vision Airlines, and provides aviation consultancy to an Asia-based hospitality and aircraft fleet owner. Prior to Aviation Ventures, Carstens was co-founder and owner of Vegas Jet, an aircraft sales, management and corporate charter company. And prior to Vegas Jet, Carstens was Director of Maintenance at Eagle Jet Charters. Carstens held various leadership roles in other aviation companies.
Carstens has extensive experience with Dornier 228, Dornier 328, Boeing 737 and Boeing 767 type aircraft.
With over 30 years of aviation experience, Carstens started his carrier in aviation with the US Air Force and holds an FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate. Carstens attended the University of Nevada at Las Vegas.
